Liam Hallahan was encouraged towards the career of acting from a young age by his father, Charles Hallahan, who was a prolific TV and Film Actor. Liam has trained extensively; he graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a B.A. in Drama (Performance) in 2012 and he has completed acting courses in San Francisco (American Conservatory Theatre) and Barcelona (The Actor’s Space). He has a great deal of experience with Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Physical Theatre and Clowning.
Previous stage credits include The Threepenny Opera (D.I.T.) and The Master and Margarita (Gaiety School of Acting). He has also appeared in Yadults, a graduate film from IADT’s National Film School. As a producer and director, he has mounted productions of The Shape of Things and Beyond Therapy(Some Yank’s Theatre Company). He is currently developing a show about his father (Liam Hallahan buries his Da live on stage) and writing a one-man show about militant misogyny on the internet.
