Gillian Fitzgerald

Gillian has been involved in acting from a very young age. She has studied acting for stage, film and camera. Her roles have included Maggie Polpin in John B. Keanes play ‘Big Maggie’ and Miranda in Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ which was performed in mask.

She studied ‘Drama and Theatre Arts’ in Kinsale College of Further Education, Co. Cork and went on to complete the ‘One Year Performance Course’ with The Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, where she played ‘Mary Warren’ in Arthur Millers’ “The Crucible”. She will go on to complete a BA in performing arts with the American College Dublin, this September.

Other theatre credits include, Romeo and Juliet with Corcadorca in Cork Opera House. MacBeth, Spaghetti Western, The Rover and Chicago directed by Belinda Wild. She has experience in musical theatre, dance, stage combat, voice, improvisation and masking.
